Kasangati Model Health Centre

Kasangati Health Centre, located in Wakiso district, 14 Kms north of Kampala is a specialised centre where students are exposed to community medicine. It serves three main purposes; teaching public health to medical students and other allied staff; serving as a research centre in teaching public health in the community, and providing basic health services to the community.
Kasangati Health Centre is therefore a resource for the tripartite functions of training, research and community service at MUSPH.
