Distance Education Technology
In house developed course print materials are the main mode of delivery of course
materials.
MPH Program Course Transfer:
Students in the Distance Education Program cannot take courses in the MPH full-
time/regular program.
MPH Instructional Faculty:
The Distance Education courses will be taught by most of the full-time MPH faculty
and by MPH part-time faculty who are experts in their fields. Click here to view
Facilities available to MPH DE Students
MUSPH has got 15 field training centers under the MPH full time program. They are
located in the offices of the District Health Officer (DHO) in the Districts of: Arua,Bushenyi, Busia, Hoima, Jinja, Kabarole, Kampala, Kumi, Mbarara, Moroto, Mpigi, Mukono, Rakai, Rukungiri and Tororo. These are stocked with books and reading materials relevant to the MPH. The sites also have internet services that can be utilized by the MPH DE students.
The Makerere University Institute of Adult and Continuing Education has got learning centers located in Mbale, Gulu, Arua, Lira, Kabale, Jinja and Fort Portal which may also be accessed by MPH DE students.
