Justine Namakula is a social scientist working with the Department of Health Policy, Planning and Management at the School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University.  She is the Coordinator of ReBUILD consortium research projects in Northern Uganda. Her research interests are: Adolescent sexual reproductive health(sex education and Health promotion);Gender relations and gender analysis; women empowerment, Poverty and Vulnerability, Health systems reconstruction in post conflict settings, Human resources for Health and Role of private sector in Health system development. She is currently doing her PHD at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh focusing on the role of private for-profit health sector in rebuilding the health system in post conflict Northern Uganda.
