The Post
The Centre for Tobacco Control in Africa (CTCA) is seeking to appoint a motivated researcher to design and conduct studies in tobacco control. The Fellow will be educated to PhD level in a relevant discipline and have experience in conducting applied health research. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary and
multi-institution programme, the appointed Research Fellow will oversee the day to day management of the Tobacco Control Capacity Building research project at Makerere University School of Public Health- Centre for Tobacco Control in Africa. The Research Fellow will draft ethical approval documents, research protocols, collect and analyse data, draft reports and articles and contribute to the dissemination of key findings. The successful candidate will benefit from a programme of mentoring and training detailed below.
